Account Manager – Office Based

We are currently recruiting for a permanent Sales Advisor for a client based in the heart of Cardiff.

Key responsibilities;
• Process quotations through the networked order processing system.
• Follow up leads and quotations and close orders
• Assist the Sales Manager with all aspects of marketing
• Database maintenance
• Database data entry input
• Assisting with the development of marketing strategies
• Compose correspondence new quotation and proposals
• Check deadlines on incoming requests and prioritise as appropriate
• Process replies on own initiative or from Sales Manager’s requests

-Excellent organizational skills and able to perform and control multiple tasks whilst under pressure and working to business critical deadlines.
-Self- driven with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on high quality and business profit.
-A natural and efficient forward planner who critically assesses own performance.
-Mature, credible, and comfortable in dealing with clients of all sizes including senior big company executives.
-Reliable, tolerant, and determined.
-Empathic communicator, able to see things from the other person’s point of view.
-Well-presented and business like. Keen for new experience, responsibility and accountability with a view to becoming a Sales Executive in time.
-Able to get on with others and be a team player.

-Able to commute reliably to office base.
-Able to work extended hours on occasions when required.
-Must have clean or near clean driving license.

-Able to communicate and motivate via written media.
-Computer skills: Must be proficient in use of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word
-Literacy and Numeracy: Able to understand basic business finance.
-Business and Selling Skills: Must be an excellent communicator. Able to demonstrate success and experience of administrating and organizing a busy office environment.
-Ideal background would be in business support services; experience in graphic / retail display industry would be particularly helpful.
-Experience of tenders would also be useful.

The package;
This is a full-time role and you will be based in Cardiff.
The hours – Monday – Thursday, 8:30am-5:30pm & Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm.
There are 20 working days annual leave. Bank Holidays and statutory days are in addition to this

Rate of Pay

£16,500.00 per year
