Business Development Manager (Office Based)

My client provide a range of ethical and sustainable products nationally. They are pioneering brand, who’s products are designed to be kind to the body and the environment.

They initially started as a D2C brand on a subscription basis, but shortly found their products on the shelves of some of the UK’s major retailers.

They’re a small but powerful team, who have big brand ambitions. You will be supported by an excellent marketing team who will help you deliver targeted campaigns which will run in parallel to your business development

This is a key role for the business, it’s first direct hire into sales, therefore the opportunity here is huge.

Duties include:
Identifying and qualifying new business opportunities via telephone
Closing deals via telephone
Working closely with external consultant for large retail opportunities
Winning business in both the office and client meetings (travel fully expensed when required)
Use CRM to effectively track opportunities and build a pipeline
Utilise the marketing team as when required
Exceed targets set

Required Skills & Experience:
A track record within B2B sales (Ideally 3+ years)
Commercial awareness
Experience in winning high-value new business
Strong account management abilities
Self-starter, highly driven with a positive attitude

£30,000 – £40,000 Basic Salary + Commission
Company Pension
No weekends or late nights (B2B hours)

Rate of Pay

£30,000.00 – £40,000.00 per year
