£40-£45k Basic, £65K OTE

Joining this organisation as Business Development Manager, you’ll report directly into the Business Director. This is an exciting senior sales role where you will be responsible for identifying, winning and developing key strategic new business clients across the Southeast of England.

The purpose of this role will be to define and deliver an annual new business Sales Target through the creation and development of an active sales pipeline. Building strategic networks and relationships both internally and externally, working closely with the Sales director and internal Sales teams to hit and surpass revenue targets. The role requires an experienced sales performer with a track record in consultative sales.

Key Accountabilities:

Responsible for the key strategic new business acquisition and development
Work closely with the sales and marketing team to deliver effective lead generation campaigns
Effective Pipeline management and accurate quarterly forecasts
Take ownership of the process of the qualification and follow-up of any and all active leads
Become a key member of the sales team ensuring all KPI’s and targets are met

Experience Required
Experience of working with multiple departments to deliver innovative and successful marketing campaigns
Vast experience of following leads through to successful conversion in a B2B market.
Exceptional track record of delivery to target in a new business environment
History of building strong client relationships whilst setting and managing expectations
The ability to present confidently and effectively at senior levels, communicating with and influencing the decision making of senior buyers
Experience of managing an active sales pipeline and liaising with internal and external stakeholders at varying stages of the sales process.
IT skills – including Word, Excel & PowerPoint
