Digital Marketing Executive

The Role;
Digital strategy Working in conjunction with senior marketing personnel and incumbent marketing agencies, develop an integrated digital marketing strategy that incorporates all business units and which is built into the overall marketing strategy.

Social media marketing Increase the numbers of members interacting with our company through social media. Develop a distinct online presence by attracting high numbers of qualified and relevant internet followers through social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest and YouTube. Develop strategies for engaging with clients and client prospects through platforms such as LinkedIn. Daily monitoring and management of all social media platforms via appropriate platform ie Hootsuite.

Website Take the lead in developing our new and dynamic group website which operates as an income generator and which helps to position the company as the pre-eminent leader in its discrete fields. Manage and maintain the website and, using web analytics, report on metrics such as visitor statistics. Work with digital marketing agencies in the UK and USA as required.

SEO / PPC Develop strategies to increase numbers of qualified and relevant visitors to the company’s website through high-ranking placements in organic search results and through PPC campaigns, alongside the key responsibility of managing all retained digital agencies.

Intranet Take the lead in developing a brand-new company intranet that informs entire workforce of company developments such as brand roll out and new wins. Maintain and manage the intranet.

Mobile marketing Develop and advise on the best approach for mobile marketing, including app-based, location-based and SMS marketing.

New opportunities and metrics Research new online media opportunities that may benefit the company including developments in mobile, social media, development of blogs and forums. Also provide accurate reports on metrics for ROI purposes.

Campaign management Work with Head of Marketing to ensure that campaigns have relevant content, impact and cut-through, with agreed metrics to ensure meaningful ROI. Develop landing pages for e-shots that resonate with targeted customers. Able to run campaigns through Mailchimp.

Budgeting Manage agreed digital spends effectively, demonstrating value for money. Working in conjunction with the Head of Marketing, provide timely and accurate budgeting data for reporting purposes.

GDPR & CRM
Have some working knowledge of GDPR and compliance / consent management. Some knowledge of a well-known CRM platform will be an advantage (esp SalesForce CRM).

You will be competent in the following areas;
Copywriting with excellent written English
Good understanding of digital products in the market
Experience of working with digital agencies
Experience in mentoring colleagues in digital marketing, including identifying training needs
Project management experience
Thorough understanding of metrics and how they affect the company
Able to develop landing pages for e-shots
Knowledge of GDPR and CRM platforms

You will have;
Marketing or business-related degree with CIM or IDM qualification
Minimum two years’ digital marketing management experience in a B2B environment
Some experience of budget management
Agency management experience
Effective project management skills and experience
High level of commercial awareness
Strong copywriting skills
Personal characteristics
Strong team player with a customer-focused attitude
Able to own issues until they are resolved
Excellent communicator who can express ideas /concepts / strategies clearly and with enthusiasm to peer groups and senior management
A strong educator
Ability to multitask and to report on metrics
Flexible, collaborative and proactive
Love all things digital
