Project Co-ordinator – Contracts Assistant

Due to continued growth, DT Civils Ltd are now looking for a Multi-Utility Project Co-ordinator (Contract Assistant / Administrator) to join their team in Ebbw Vale. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with experience in administration within utilities, construction or civil engineering.

About the Role:

Project Co-ordinator (Contract Assistant/Administrator) role is to organise the installation of new onsite Electricity, Gas, Water and Fibre mains infrastructure and services to meet customer requirements.

• Liaise in a clear and timely manner with client and internal staff to manage requests for
• Installation of mains and/or service connections on predominantly residential new build projects.
• Produce work packs for labour teams.
• Assist with material orders / records.
• Accurately record on a daily/weekly basis actual works completed against planned works.
• Manage completed project documentation returns to enable project closure.
• Process client paperwork & provide to internal commercial department for invoicing.
• Carry out other administrative duties as required by the Operations Manager.
• Collate completed teamwork packs along with timesheets & plant records.
• Liaise with the Scheduling team to programme appropriate site staff to carry out Works
• Promote and demonstrate a culture of Health Safety & Quality at all times
• Work within Company Policies and Procedures.

What we are looking for:

Experience:

• Previous experience within either the utility / construction / civil engineering sectors in an a construction administration role is highly desirable
Skills:
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Commercial awareness
• Well organised
• Good knowledge of MS Office software (Excel & Word)
• Ability to work well in a team and on your own initiative.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment

Rate of Pay

£20,000.00 – £24,000.00 per year
