Project Co-ordinator

As a Project co-ordinator, you will be part of a small yet busy land and planning team where you will be integral to the delivery of new homes. You will be handling a varied range of development control matters which will include but not be limited to: discharging planning conditions, co-ordinating and assembling planning applications and coordinating building regulation technical information.

Qualifications/Experience

The ideal candidate will be expected to have a sound knowledge of the UK planning system and understand the principles behind taking land from initial identification to a construction start. An understanding of building regulations would beneficial.

Ideally, you will have completed a relevant degree in Town Planning and be able to work towards RTPI qualification (this is not essential). A full driving licence is also essential.

Skills

The successful candidate will have good written and interpersonal skills as they will be representing the company in a wide range of capacities.
Attention to detail is key in this role as you will be:
Coordinating the submission of Building Regulation Applications
Procuring other statutory approvals
Procuring new utilities supplies.
Facilitating the timely submission of Planning applications of sites through appointment of appropriate project teams to provide specialist input including fee proposals, instruction and management
Undertake Planning Appraisals of potential development sites

Rate of Pay

£25,000.00 – £30,000.00 per year
